John Biguenet, a prize-winning American author, has published six books, including The Oyster, a novel, as well as poems, stories and essays. He has twice served as President of the American Literary Translators Association and has co-written The Craft of Translation and Theories of Translation: An Anthology of Essays from Dryden to Derrida, both published by The University of Chicago Press.
“The Oyster”, a tale of murder and intrigue in the deep South of America, is now available in a French-language paperback under the title Le Secret du bayou. You can order it from Amazon.fr for 6.60 euros and also read the first chapter online.
